Vintage Adverts With Modern Values

I created these 1930s / 1940s style adverts using modern photographs of people and things, editing them into a specific visual style and creating new pieces of vintage looking advertising from them. The concept of each piece is loosely based on an original advert found in my personal collection of war-time magazines. I wanted to make my new adverts reflect my modern and inclusive values about gender and sexuality though, so I’ve creatively adapted the content for contemporary society.
